An observation: the majority of people who felt the need to “add” something when reblogging this picture, did so to demand that the model shaves her pubes.
If we’re missing points as simple as this picture’s, I have no hope for humanity.

From an ongoing series of pictures for which we are still casting future subjects. Interested individuals should be comfortable with their bodies, and willing to commit to potentially long days. Preference given to actors/artists (performers in general), but we are certainly open to considering anyone who shows genuine interest in the aesthetic of the project and feels right for the part.

Culture dictates that the body is clearly outlined; divided from the rest of the world by a layer of skin- documented and surveillenced by the space it inhabits and takes up. The body is all at once a site and source of adherence and resistance. The ways in which the body is understood and understands itself holds the greatest power in the production of knowledge of how one can truly develop a ‘self’. The bodies we understand as our own are subject to heavy inscriptions, prescribed by culture and society, policed by rules and regulations of gender and sexuality, fat and femininity. Culture is a proprietor of the messages delineated by the inscriptions our bodies host: teaching right from wrong, ugly from beautiful and male from female.
